Vision & Values

We are a family of distinctive schools at the heart of the diverse communities we serve. In line with our Christian ethos, we aspire to excellent learning and pastoral care for pupils and staff and are committed to being open and welcoming to all.

In practical terms, our driving purpose is to support and improve schools to advance education for the public benefit. It is our belief that excellent learning is achieved through high quality teaching, delivery of a rich and exciting curriculum which is appropriately resourced and includes extraordinary opportunities for pupils. This results in strong progress and attainment which, in turn, unlocks future life chances for all.

Our improvement strategy has been shaped by the concept of strong collaboration, so that the skills and talents that exist within The Keys can be of benefit to all. While each one of our schools is unique, we understand that the mutual challenge, support and partnership that we offer each other as a Trust working together will enable our schools to flourish and continue to develop into centres of excellence. Together, we are greater than the sum of our parts.

All schools within The Keys share this vision and life in our schools in underpinned by our values however each school retains its own identify, so it is best placed to serve its own community. Being part of The Keys brings together a group of like-minded people and strong networks. The Keys believes that every pupil deserves the best educational outcomes and puts pupils at the heart of decision making.

We value school individuality and we are committed to celebrating the local context and purpose of each school.
