Saint Sebastian’s CE Primary Celebrates Strong SIAMS Outcome.
The Keys Academy Trust is delighted to celebrate the excellent SIAMS inspection outcome at Saint Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School and Nursery. The report highlights not only the school’s deeply embedded Christian vision but also the strength of partnership and shared practice across our Trust that enriches leadership, teaching and school culture.
Inspectors praised the school for its strong sense of family, where every child and adult is known, valued and supported. The vision, rooted in the parable of the Good Samaritan, is lived out authentically through daily routines, relationships and decision‑making. Pupils are described as respectful, compassionate and engaged learners who benefit from a nurturing environment shaped by love, respect, aspiration and courage.
The report also highlights the significant impact of Trust-wide collaboration. Saint Sebastian’s benefits from flexible executive leadership, coaching, networks and professional development opportunities offered across The Keys strengthening confidence, wellbeing and leadership capacity within the school. This recognition is a powerful affirmation of our commitment to ensuring every school flourishes, supported through meaningful partnership and shared expertise.
High‑quality RE, inclusive and creative worship, and a thoughtfully designed curriculum were also celebrated, with inspectors noting pupils’ enthusiasm for exploring big questions, developing religious literacy and contributing positively to school life. The school’s culture of care extends to staff as well, with wellbeing prioritised and supported through Trust networks and effective governance.
Hester Wooller, CEO, shared her congratulations: “This outcome is a testament to the dedication, professionalism and love shown by the entire Saint Sebastian’s team. The report also recognises the strength of our Trust community, how we learn from each other, support one another and grow together. We are immensely proud of the school and grateful for the example it sets.” We extend our warmest thanks to the staff, governors, pupils and wider community at Saint Sebastian’s CE Primary School and Nursery. This result reflects their hard work, commitment and wholehearted dedication to living out their vision every day.
