North Hub Taskmaster Event
Nov 28 2025
Sonning CE Primary School hosted an unforgettable Taskmaster-inspired challenge for Year 6 pupils across our North Hub schools. Designed to celebrate creativity, teamwork and problem-solving, the event was packed with imaginative tasks that tested quick thinking and collaboration.
Teams from Sonning CE Primary School, Polehampton CE Junior School, Crazies Hill CE Primary School and St Nicholas CE Primary School joined together for a morning of fun and friendly competition. Congratulations to St Nicholas CE Primary School for taking first place and well done to all schools for their enthusiasm and energy!
The atmosphere was electric, with pupils sharing their excitement: "I really liked the first task, where we sang a rap about our school, because it introduced us to the game and helped us get to know the other schools. We laughed so much!" Said Mollie. Chloe added "I loved the mystery tasks. They really made us think and I liked that you had to use different strategies and play to the different strengths in our team."
As our Year 6 pupils approach the end of their primary journey, events like this help them bond, build confidence and create lasting memories. A huge thank you to Sonning for hosting and to everyone who made the day such a success.
