Sep 9 2025
The Keys Academy Trust is proud to announce that Grazeley Church of England Primary School has been rated Good in all areas following its most recent Ofsted inspection on 24 and 25 June 2025. This marks a significant achievement for the school.
Inspectors praised Grazeley as “a warm and welcoming community” where pupils are thriving in a nurturing and ambitious environment. The report commended the school for fulfilling its vision of being “a loving community of courageous learners, building resilience and hope for the future”.
The report also highlights the school’s strong curriculum, positive behaviour, and effective support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Reading was identified as a particular strength, with inspectors noting that pupils are motivated, fluent readers who enjoy a wide range of books.
Pupils’ personal development was also praised, with Ofsted noting how children are encouraged to be “courageous advocates,” contributing to school life and the wider community through leadership roles, charitable work, and enrichment opportunities.
Hester Wooller, CEO of The Keys Academy Trust, said: “Grazeley’s 'Good’ in all areas is a fantastic achievement and testament to the leadership, staff and community who have worked with determination and care. This report reflects not only the quality of teaching and learning but also the ethos and values that make Grazeley such a special place for children.”
Jane Critchlow, Headteacher of Grazeley C of E Primary School said: “This achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional teamwork demonstrated by every member of our school family. The hard work and dedication of our staff has been instrumental in creating the positive learning environment that our inspectors recognised. Our teachers and all support staff have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that every child receives the highest quality education and care.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our parents, for their confidence in us and ongoing support. Their partnership with the school, their engagement in their children's learning, and their trust in the decisions we have made have been fundamental to our success.”
Grazeley is now well placed to continue its journey of improvement, with inspectors noting the positive culture, strong leadership, and high staff morale that underpin the school’s success.
