Trust Strategy Day at Leighton Park School - posted 29th Mar

Trustees and staff from the Keys Academy Trust met together on Friday January 26th for our first strategy day. Leighton Park School proved to be an ideal setting for conversations around next steps for the trust and how to strategically build on work already completed. The day provided an opportunity to reflect back on the previous year and achievements to date. The last 12 months had seen the setting up of the trust and 3 schools already joined. Trustees then went on to consider how the trust would grow over the next year and key actions and work needed to progress this growth. All involved felt the day was very worthwhile and agreed to make it an annual feature of the trust calendar.

Leader from the world of retail shares strategies with trustees - posted 29th Mar

Trustees were pleased to welcome Jonathan Reddie, a senior store manager at one of the UK's leading retail firms to share some of his knowledge and experience at a recent board meeting. Jonathan delivered a presentation on accountable leadership and fielded questions on management in retail. Trustees were thankful for his time and found the session hugely beneficial.

St Sebastian's Primary School joins Keys Academy Trust - posted 15th Dec

We were delighted to welcome St Sebastian's as a convertor school, into The Keys Academy Trust on December 1st. On Thursday, Mrs Wooller, was invited to St Sebastian's for a special assembly led by St Sebastian’s Headteacher, Martin Gater and Rev. Andrew Marsden.  Mrs Wooller met the children and presented a Plaque from Keys Academy Trust to mark the occasion.

Outstanding Church School Award - posted 19th Jul

Revd Hannah, Earley St Peter’s Church, and Mrs Wooller, Headteacher at Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School, were invited to attend an awards ceremony at Church House in Oxford. This was to celebrate being judged to be an outstanding school in the SIAMS Inspection earlier in the year. The plaque was presented by the Bishop of Dorchester, The Rt Revd Colin Fletcher .
