Personal Assistant to the CEO, The Keys Academy Trust

The Keys Academy Trust is a well-established primary specialist Multi Academy Trust with currently 10 schools in the Wokingham area.  We are seeking to appoint a PA to the CEO, to lead in core administration activities, support in reporting to and liaising with stakeholders and promoting the Trust to achieve its Growth Strategy.  You will join the Trust at a very exciting time and as the PA to the CEO you will play a crucial part working with and supporting key stakeholders.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the CEO on a daily basis through a full range of secretarial, administrative and clerical duties.
  • Managing a large workload and multiple complex tasks including responding to changing priorities with a proven ability to meet deadlines and with an eye for detail.
  • Assisting the CEO in the compilation of reports for the various stakeholders
  • Planning and organising meetings, events and conferences in the Trust schools or at external venues

The successful applicant will:

  • Be an experienced PA/ administrator within an educational setting
  • Have excellent communication skills, and can deal with stakeholders with tact, diplomacy and discretion understanding the importance of confidentiality
  • Have proficient IT skills with excellent knowledge of MS packages including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams

Employment Status: Permanent. Term-time only plus 5 INSET days plus 2 weeks to be worked during school holidays.
Hours:   30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
PayScale: Grade 7 SCP 25-29. FTE £32,020 - £35,411 (subject to pay body review)
Actual Annual Salary from: £23,685 - £26,194

The Coombes Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Tutor to work within our school to support the education of our pupils. The role is a part-time position, starting in September 2023, working between the hours of Monday – Friday 08:30-12:00.

The Tutor will be carrying out the School-led Tutoring Programme within school, working on a 1:2 – 1:6 basis with children across various year groups. The tutor will be expected to focus primarily on Literacy and Mathematics and improving pupils understanding of core concepts, whilst giving the pupils the additional support they need in the classroom.  Previous experience of supporting learning within a primary school is preferred for this role, however training and support will be provided to suitable candidates. We can also be flexible with days you wish to work if required.

This role is a unique opportunity to support children’s learning within a thriving school community, actively engaging with and supporting pupils within our school community. It will certainly be a rewarding role.

Requirements:

  • Have previous experience of supporting child development.
  • Be able to work in close partnership with teachers and support staff.
  • Be able to offer tailored support and differentiated activities.

  • Be able to confidently interpret planning and deliver high quality learning in line with planned provision.
  • Take responsibility for their own effective time management and contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.

Earley St Peter’s Church of England Primary School are looking for a fun, energetic and committed team member to join our staffing team.  You will be involved in supporting the learning and development of our children during the mornings. 

Main purpose:

The TA will be deployed across the school to support the child or class in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.

Duties include:

  • Establishing positive relationships with pupils
  • Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track
  • Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils’ work
  • Assisting with taking pupils on educational visits
  • Supervising pupils during lunchtime

General requirements:

  • Experience with, or a love of, working with young people
  • An awareness of commitment to equality
  • Basic understanding of health and safety
  • Understanding and implementing child protection procedures
